Poll: Majority of remote workers are content, many would choose it full time

A study from Commercial Cafe in early May asked more than 2,600 Americans their opinions on working remotely and found mixed opinions including:

  • 73% of Americans are content or love working from home, and 41% would do it full time if given the choice.
  • The biggest challenges faced by respondents were the lack of social interaction with co-workers (28%), the lack of boundaries between work and home (25%), and distractions (23%).
  • More than half of the survey participants enjoyed not having a commute.
  • In the long-term, the changes that workers want to see in the office are better ventilation and air quality (60%) and more personal space (57%).
