Plexus to build $40 million replacement factory in Romania

Neenah-based Plexus Corp. today announced plans to build a $40 million plant in Oradea Romania, replacing a plant the company has leased in that city.

The company, which also is building plants in Kelso and Livingston, Scotland and Darmstadt, Germany, said employment at the Romanian plant would increase from 245 to 500.

When completed in the spring of 2013, the new factory will have 280,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.
