Uline, a business-to-business shipping supply distribution company in Pleasant Prairie, announced a $100 million investment to expand its facility. The company will add a 200,000-square-foot office building and double its warehouse space with the addition of a 1 million-square-foot distribution center. The investment is being made without any state funding and is expected to create about 500 jobs.

Uline relocated its corporate office to Wisconsin from Waukegan, Ill. in 2010. In 2011, the company announced a $25 million plan to move its Eagan, Minn. distribution center across the Mississippi River to Hudson, Wis. Construction of that facility brought 150 jobs to the state, according to a release from Gov. Scott Walker’s office.

Uline employs more than 3,500 workers and has 10 distribution centers in North America.
