Madison’s Plastic Ingenuity, one of America’s largest custom thermoformers in the U.S., is the latest company featured in the Plastics Industry Association’s new “Recycling Is Real” video advocacy initiative.
The video series highlights mechanical and advanced recycling facilities throughout the U.S.
“At Plastic Ingenuity’s facilities, post-consumer recycled plastics are being transformed into products that touch nearly every part of our lives — helping food stay fresher longer, safeguarding medical devices and delivering the everyday essentials people rely on,” Matt Seaholm, president and CEO of the Plastics Industry Association, said in a statement.
Plastic Ingenuity specializes in food, healthcare and consumer goods packaging with a Silver EcoVadis sustainability rating, placing it in the top 15% of businesses evaluated on sustainability practices in environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
“Today, sustainability is a daily practice,” Plastic Ingenuity president and CEO Dan Kuehn said in a statement. “Our engineers design for efficiency, our designers prioritize circularity, and our packaging manufacturers understand their role as stewards of the environment. We are proud to partner with the Plastics Industry Association to amplify the message that Recycling is Real and contribute to a more sustainable future.”
