A six-story clinic planned next to UW Health’s far east side clinic has been taken off hold, according to a report from Wisconsin State Journal.
The project was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic and financial losses sustained by the organization. The $348 million project was scheduled to begin the design phase in 2020 but will restart in July. Construction is planned for March 2022 with an opening in the fall of 2024.
