A group of Sun Prairie mothers is planning to use their teaching and fundraising experience to raise $5 million in order to open a 20,000-square-foot Explore Children’s Museum sometime in late 2021, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.
A location for the museum has not been determined but the board is considering a handful of options within Sun Prairie city limits.
