The Madison Plan Commission approved the design for the nine-story Spark, part of the two-building 800 Block Project along East Washington Avenue that will also house StartingBlock.
The height of Cosmos, the companion building, is still undetermined.
Cosmos will include a 2,500-person capacity music venue as well as office space, but whether it will be limited to four stories or expanded to eight remains unclear.
