Madison-based Placon, a family-owned custom and stock rigid thermoformed packaging designer and manufacturer, has acquired Plastic Packaging Corp. (PPC) of West Springfield, Mass. PPC is a rigid plastic container manufacturer. It is Placon’s second acquisition in as many years. PPC has 141 employees and a 100,000-sq.-ft. facility. Terms were not disclosed.
