All four Salvatore’s Tomato Pies locations — in Madison, Sun Prairie, and Monona — will be closed Nov. 3 to encourage the company’s 160 employees to work the polls, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.

Employees who volunteer at the polls will receive a full day’s pay from the restaurant as well as the wages they receive from the city for being a poll worker.
