Pizza Hut will close 250 “underperforming” locations in the U.S. in the first half of 2026 after the fourth quarter of 2025 saw a 3% dip in sales, USA Today reported.

The move is part of “Hut Forward,” a new business strategy Pizza Hut owner Yum! Brands is implementing to revitalize the brand.

The goal is to hit near-term sales goals and advance a long-term strategy.

Pizza Hut runs 20,000 locations globally.
