Middleton-based Pivotal Health has partnered with Madison-based DotCom Therapy and Arizona-based LifeStance Health to provide mental health resources online nationwide, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The health care startup, which sends clinicians to patients’ homes, is hoping to increase access to mental health treatment options. DotCom Therapy and LifeStance Health both offer mental health resources in an online format. After training with psychiatric experts, Pivotal’s doctors will assess patients’ mental health concerns during in-home visits and can refer people to one of the two companies based on therapy and medication needs. Pivotal employs 15 people and to date it has treated 2,500 patients in the Madison and Milwaukee areas.
