State Rep. Francesca Hong and members of two local culinary collectives have declared July 16–24 as Pink Out Week in Madison, according to a report from The Capital Times. The week will include events, special menus, and fundraisers aimed at supporting and protecting “bodily autonomy and abortion access for all who need it,” according to the planners. The Culinary Ladies Collective and the Dane County Food Collective will present a political roundtable, documentary film screening, bake sale, a microbrewery pizza night, and a six-course dinner event. Donations from the week will support the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness, Emily’s List, and Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin.
