Pink Flamingo Brunch Club opened on State Street on July 26, Madison Magazine reports. The restaurant is State Street’s only dedicated brunch and breakfast spot.

The recent opening follows closures of other brunch spots such as Short Stack Eatery — something owner Pink Flamingo owner Laura Moreno and chef Oscar Villarreal had in mind when they decided to open the new establishment.

Pink Flamingo offers classic breakfast dishes as well as locally-inspired twists on traditional morning fare. The restaurant’s name was inspired by The Flamingo Bar, a long-gone spot that is now City Bar.

The new restaurant at 638 State St. is open daily from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
