Roundy’s Inc., the Milwaukee-based parent company of the Pick ’n Save chain of grocery stores, is implementing the state’s first antibacterial checkout conveyor belts at 10 of its Milwaukee-area stores.
The new devices have antibacterial agents that protect the conveyor belt from mold, mildew, fungus, and bacteria.
Pick ’n Save plans to incorporate the new antibacterial belts throughout other stores during the remainder of the year.
