Physicians Plus, UW Health sign deal

A new, four-year partnership has been signed between Physicians Plus Insurance Corp. and UW Health that will guarantee that all UW Health providers and facilities will be included in the Physicians Plus provider network. The arrangement applies to all UW Health groups, including the American Family Children’s Hospital and UW Hospital and Clinics. The two entities will work closely on effective and efficient medical management, according to a release, although they have already had a long history of working together. The new contract takes effect Jan. 1.
