After announcing its COVID-19 vaccine appears to be 95% effective, Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech have formally asked U.S. regulators to allow emergency use of the vaccine, according to a story from the Associated Press.
The request starts the clock on a process that could bring limited first shots as early as December.
