Exercise bicycle maker Peloton is recalling 833,000 units of its original Bike+ after reports of the seat post breaking and detaching from the equipment during use, according to CNBC.

To date, two injuries have been reported by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The bikes were manufactured between 2019 and 2022, and sold between January 2020 and April 2025.

In May 2023, Peloton recalled every base Bike model it had sold, a total of 2.2 million units, after receiving 35 reports of the seat post breaking and detaching. Replacements for the 2023 recall cost the company at least $40 million during its fiscal 2023 fourth quarter.
