Pellitteri Waste Systems — an independent, family-owned-and-operated waste and recycling service provider — started 2024 with three new municipal contracts, bringing the total local communities it serves to 42 and homes serviced weekly to more than 76,000. With the new contracts to serve the city of Monona, village of Mount Horeb, and village of Poynette, Pellitteri added more than 8,100 new homes for curbside waste and recycling removal.
Pellitteri has an expanded recycling list, processing items for recycling beyond the requirements of state law.
Pellitteri customers also now can access a mobile app that lets users set up collection day reminders and receive weather-related alerts. The Recycle Right Search Tool provides tips on how to dispose of specific items correctly.
