Flad Development has been working with the Rocky Bluff Neighborhood Association on plans to transform a one-acre parcel at 2901 University Ave. into a commercial and residential development.
Party Port Liquor, known for selling beer by the keg, will close on Feb. 14 and be demolished and replaced by a five-story mixed-use project fronting University Avenue.
Around the corner, two-story townhomes on Harvey Street would connect to the larger building through an underground parking garage.
Named “The Quarry Shoppes and Apartments at Mid Town,” the project could break ground in May and be completed in June 2019, according to a story in The Capital Times.
