Owners of Paisan’s say it will likely return to the basement of its sister restaurant, Porta Bella, nearly five decades after leaving, according to WKOW. The move follows Paisan’s loss of its home at 131 W. Wilson St. last year.

Repeated neglect and ignored warnings of needed building repairs forced the restaurant to shut down and reopen twice. The owner has said he and others lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The old building on Wilson Street is set to be demolished by November and replaced by luxury apartments.
