Packers offer matching grant for Madison Black excellence center

The Green Bay Packers Foundation is offering a dollar-for-dollar match through the end of the year for donations to The Center for Black Excellence and Culture, according to a statement from the organization. The Center will house a three-level, 65,000-square-foot cultural home for the Black community on six acres at 655 W. Badger Road near the Beltline and just west of the Fountain of Life Covenant Church. To date, fundraising for the project totals $23 million with a goal of $36 million. The Green Bay Packers Foundation will match every gift made now through the end of the year up to a total of $250,000.
