Owner of Budget Bicycle Shops fortifies historic building

Roger Charly, owner of Budget Bicycle Shops, is preserving a small, yellow building that housed Franco Shoe Repair, located at 1213 Regent St., according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The 600-square-foot building was home to the shoe repair business for more than 40 years and will be removed and reinstalled on a new foundation. Charly hopes to attract a new tenant to the building such as a barber shop or tattoo parlor.
