The Wisconsin Technology Council and the Tech Council Investor Networks reported that 123 Wisconsin early-stage companies raised a record $454 million in 2019, more than any other single year.
The largest reported investments were in SHINE Medical Technologies at $132 million, NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes at $75 million, and Redox at $36.1 million.
Among the trends reported for 2019 is that more women-led and women-owned businesses raised funding in 2019 compared to previous years.
