Oshkosh Corp. has reported fiscal second quarter net income of $37.3 million, or 41 cents per diluted share, compared to $67.9 million, or 74 cents per diluted share, in the second quarter of fiscal 2011. With profits down 45% compared to the same quarter last year, due mainly to the military’s selection of a less profitable vehicle, and with the U.S. military budget facing cuts, the company plans to expand overseas.
