Madison’s Orpheum Theater will soon be under the day-to-day management of Live Nation Worldwide Inc., a national entertainment company. A third party, DLS Events LLC, will handle food and drink sales.
The announcement was made by current co-owner Gus Paras who also owns the Comedy Club on State Street. Co-owner Henry Doane reportedly was not in favor of the move. The men are currently in litigation on ownership issues.
The City Council must still approve a combination beer and liquor license for DLS Events.
