OpenAI, an artificial intelligence startup worth $500 billion, signed its first contract with Amazon, a deal to buy $38 billion worth of capacity from Amazon Web Services, according to CNBC.

Announced Monday, OpenAI said it will run workloads on AWS infrastructure, and use hundreds of thousands of Nvidia’s graphics processing units in the U.S.

Amazon stock climbed about 5% following the news, and Amazon plans on building additional infrastructure for OpenAI.

OpenAI previously had an exclusive cloud deal with Microsoft, but the AI company will still purchase $250 billion in Microsoft Azure services in the future.
