Members of the OPEC+ alliance of oil-exporting countries have agreed to a small boost in oil production in light of a steady global economic outlook, according to the Associated Press.
The group is set to raise oil production by 137,000 barrels per day in November, matching its October amount and continuing a series of slight boosts it has announced all year.
The group said in a statement that the move was in response to “a steady global economic outlook and current health market fundamentals.”
