The Wisconsin State Journal reports that the bipartisan bill that would legalize online sports betting in Wisconsin has been pulled from the Assembly’s calendar by Republicans.

The bill would make it legal to bet online if computer servers are located on tribal lands.

However, the bill won’t be looked at until next year.

Assembly Majority Leader Tyler August, R-Walworth, told the newspaper there were points to consider that had not been previously considered. The expectation is to vote on the bill early in 2026.
