Wisconsin residents making purchases online will begin paying state sales taxes beginning Oct. 1, according to a story in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The Legislative Fiscal Bureau reports that the revenue generated, estimated to be about $90 million this year and $120 million next year, means taxpayers could see an estimated $52 reduction in their income taxes.
