Mount Horeb-based oneEvent Technologies closed its first funding round by securing $1.8 million in new capital and surpassing its goal.
oneEvent’s IoT solution works with life safety, security and home automation systems — including Nest, Canary, WeMo, SmartThings, and ADT — to maximize safety, comfort, and convenience in a home or business. It monitors temperature, humidity, motion, and other variable factors, sending a constant stream of real-time data into the cloud that’s easily accessible from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
The oneEvent solution alerts property owners when conditions endanger their home, business, property, and lives. The system is currently installed in select commercial sites, hotels, and homes. The new capital will be used to scale pilots with insurance carriers and commercial partners.
