The W. Jerome Frautschi Foundation has donated $1 million to One City Schools, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The donation will be earmarked for renovating an office building into a K–12 charter school in Monona. The building, at 1707 W. Broadway, is scheduled for completion in August 2022. The school plans an enrollment of 888 at the future Pleasant T. Rowland Leadership Campus and has received donations from more than 2,500 financial donors and more than 300 volunteers since its launch nearly a decade ago.
