OM Development LLC, purchased Lots 1 and 3 of OM Station — the former Oscar Mayer campus located at 910 Oscar Ave. on Madison’s east side — on May 30. The developer will also manage other parts of the campus, which includes a total of 49.5 acres and eight main structures.
OM Development is led by Randy Goll and Dan Seibel, who have more than 60 years’ combined experience in real estate planning, development and construction. In the next 60 to 90 days, they will share their master plan for OM Station and anticipate following a majority of the recommendations in the Oscar Mayer Special Area Plan.
In the ensuing months, they will develop a usage and gains plan, coordinate with the city and engage stakeholders. In the near future, the company will undertake general maintenance and landscape upgrades at the property.
OM Development has hired four brokerage firms — CBRE, The Dickman Co., Hunter Real Estate and Mid America Real Estate Corp. — as well as a team that includes Wyser Engineering for surveying, Pinnacle Engineering for civil engineering and LF Green Development LLC for environmental consultation.
OM Station has a number of tenants, including Madison BCycle, SkipperBud’s Madison, The Bodgery and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which operates a shuttle bus service to campus.
