A plan to build a 12-story housing project and relocate the historic Wonder Bar has been revised by the developer, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. The submitted plans from McGrath Property Group now call for a scaled-back plan to provide 258 housing units,18,808 square feet of commercial space, and 308 covered parking spaces. The plan includes the demolition of the Coliseum Bar and preserves the Wonder Bar and relocates it to the southwest end of the 1.5-acre site on Olin Avenue. In April, the plan included 18 stories, 291 apartments, and 12,500 square feet of commercial space.
