Pending regulatory approvals, La Crosse-based Marine Credit Union will acquire 10 Old National Bank branches around the state.
A La Crosse Tribunereport announced that the purchase will include $274 million in deposits at branches in Chippewa Falls, Columbus, Dodgeville, Eau Claire, Lancaster, Monroe, New Glarus, Platteville, Prairie du Chien, and Stanley.
The acquisition is expected to close in third quarter and could save Old National Bank about $3 million annually, according to a separate American Bankerstory.
