Old National Bank closing 6 Dane County branches

After acquiring Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin Inc. in 2016, Indiana-based Old National Bancorp, parent of Old National Bank, announced it will close some of its brick-and-mortar branches in the Midwest, including 10 in Wisconsin.

According to a Milwaukee Business Journal report, the branches are experiencing less use due to online banking.

Old National plans to downsize its footprint in Wisconsin from 30 to 20 branches, and selected the locations for closure based on factors such as client traffic and transaction counts.

Wisconsin branches scheduled to close on April 24 include:

  • 6240 Century Ave., Middleton
  • 6501 Monona Drive, Monona
  • 3052 Cahill Main, Fitchburg
  • 705 N. Main St., Oregon
  • 204 S. Century Ave., Suite A1, Waunakee
  • 1720 U.S. Highway 51 and 138, Stoughton

Two will close in the Milwaukee area, as well.

In total, Old National Bank will close 31 offices across the Midwest including Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Kentucky.
