Madison nonprofit Operation Fresh Start (OFS) will host an open house on Thursday, Jan. 23, to unveil its newly renovated offices, classrooms, and construction workspace, WMTV15 reports. The event will take place from 3–5:30 p.m. at 2670 Milwaukee St.
The nonprofit received a $3.3 million grant to support its Build and Conservation Academy program, which launched in January 2022. Since then, 144 young adults have completed its curriculum focused on construction and land management.
Open house attendees will be able to tour the new facility, meet the OFS participants who completed the renovation work, and learn about the organization’s educational, mentorship, and employment training programs.
