Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge at 5565 Tancho Drive on Madison’s east side breaks ground on a $43 million expansion on Nov. 16.
Oakwood is a locally operated, faith-based, and not-for-profit organization for older adults and the Madison community. This expansion will add 73 new independent living apartment homes, 33 new one-bedroom assisted living suites, and more dining, classroom, and exercise/fitness space. Completion is expected in early 2019.
More than 50% of the apartment homes are already reserved, according to a release.
