While sales of previously owned homes rose .5% in November from October, the sales were 1% lower than in November 2024, CNBC reports.
Supply of houses also dipped in November. There were 1.43 million homes for sale at the end of November, which is 5.9% lower than in October, but up 7.5% year-over-year.
Homes are also staying on the market longer, at 36 days compared to last November when they averaged 32 days.
