The Madison NorthStar Medical Technologies LLC facilities located at 5249 Femrite Drive and 3060 Progress Road will be terminating the employment of a group of employees, according to a recent WARN notice. These employment terminations are expected to be permanent, with an anticipated date of the first separation on Oct. 11, or within 13 days thereafter.
The employment terminations will affect 28 employees. The remainder of the two NorthStar facilities will continue to operate after Oct. 11. All affected employees have been notified of their separation dates and that their separation from employment will be permanent.
The affected employees will receive compensation and benefits for any period of time covered by WARN and Wis. Stat. § 109.07. The affected employees are not represented by a union and do not have any bumping rights.
