Benvenuto’s Italian Grill has closed its north side Madison location at 1849 Northport Drive, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The location was the only one closed out of seven locations the restaurant chain operates. The owner says the COVID-19 pandemic is not the reason for the closure, but rather it was because the restaurant’s lease was up and the location needed renovation after 18 years in operation.
