Nordic Consulting Partners president Drew Madden has been named in a sexual harassment suit filed by a former employee who was fired in February 2014 shortly after she reportedly took her complaints about Madden to then-CEO Mark Bakken.

The Isthmus story includes texts sent from Madden to Natalee Cruse, the former employee. Attorneys for Nordic are not denying that Madden sent the texts or took photos of the woman’s legs, but they claim Cruse enjoyed the exchanges. None of her texts were published in the story, but her attorneys at Fox & Fox, vehemently refute that allegation.

The company maintains Cruse, the company’s former vice president of marketing, was fired due to “performance deficiencies,” but she claims she was never informed of any issues until after she raised complaints about Madden. She seeks reinstatement with back pay and benefits, compensatory damages, and the acknowledgement that Madden and Nordic were in the wrong.

Mark Bakken stepped down from Nordic in late 2014 to form HealthX Ventures.
