Madison’s Rebalanced-Life Wellness Association, a nonprofit with two free medical clinics and an education center aiming to improve the health of Black men, is opening a free dental care clinic, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The Perry Family Dental Clinic will open on Saturday inside the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County’s Fitchburg location at 4619 Jenewein Road. It will be open this Saturday and next Saturday, Dec. 16, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Further hours will be determined following a holiday break.
The clinic will be staffed initially by two dental hygienists. It will provide teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings. The clinic intends also to hire a dentist to provide dental care.
The services offered are supported by the state Department of Health Services, the Wisconsin Partnership Program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and SSM Health.
