According to NBC15, nonprofit Rock County Jumpstart recently honored Black Business Month with business awards recognizing hard work and dedication to the community.
Bobbie Wilson, owner of Mr. B’s Coffee and Ice Cream, won the Legacy Award and celebrated his 17th year in business. Lester Grace’s pop-up shop Backyard Barbeque took home Business of the Year.
Other winners include Elite Rental Properties with the Lotus Award, Barry Badertscher with Mentor of the Year, and Mikal Cooks with Peer Mentor of the Year.
