Dane County nonprofit Chrysalis, which provides mental health and recovery support, announced on Tuesday that Imani Jackson will be its development director, Madison365 reports. Jackson previously served as a peer advocacy coordinator at the organization.
The news marks the first time in Chrysalis’ 45-year history that it has named a development director. The organization is seeking to expand its reach and impact through strategic fundraising, community partnerships and advocacy.
The nonprofit provides supported employment programs and peer advocacy services for those living with challenges due to mental health and substance abuse. Its programs assist people in finding and retaining community-based employment.
