Nominations open for financial literacy awards

The Governor’s Council on Financial Literacy and Capability has opened nominations for the Governor’s Financial Literacy Awards for organizations that help elevate financial literacy and capability, according to a statement from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. Nominations will be accepted on or before Dec. 3, 2021, to recognize individuals and organizations for their accomplishments in increasing the literacy, capability, and inclusion of Wisconsin residents. Categories include individuals, organization/business, and legacy. The council will select recipients in December and award recipients virtually in 2022.
