Commercial Travelers Insurance Co. policyholders approved the demutualization of Commercial Travelers and the subsequent acquisition by National Guardian Life Insurance Co. (NGC) of Madison.
The purchase ends a five-year transition to full-ownership that began in 2012 when the two firms entered into an affiliation agreement.
