The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), which advocates for small businesses across Wisconsin and the U.S., applauded the recent passage of Workforce Recruitment Grants.
Luke Bacher, the NFIB’s state director, released the following statement in response to the approval of Assembly Bill (AB) 279.
“On behalf of thousands of small businesses in the state of Wisconsin, the NFIB applauds the passage of Workforce Recruitment Grants. Many small businesses in our state are facing a workforce shortage. AB 279 would help to address this issue by creating talent recruitment grants. Attracting households from other states to relocate here in Wisconsin would help businesses that are facing a labor shortage.”
