The National Federation of Independent Business has come out against a Wisconsin Assembly Republicans transportation/tax proposal.
“Small business owners understand the important need to adequately fund the state’s transportation system,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB’s state director in a release. “However, extending the sales tax to motor fuel as this plan proposes will result in Main Street businesses paying millions of dollars more at the pump to fuel their delivery trucks, service vehicles, equipment, machinery, and automobiles.”
