A new ice cream shop is coming to Waunakee’s Main Street later this month, according to the Waunakee Tribune. Lundy’s Ice Cream, in partnership with Madison-based Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, is set to hold a grand opening at 305 E. Main St. on April 26.
The Lund family, based in Verona, opened the first Lundy’s location in West Fargo, North Dakota, in January. The Waunakee location will be the second.
Lundy’s offers pints and cones as well as ice cream nachos, ice cream tacos, milk shakes, and hot cocoa bombs. The shop expects to hire roughly 15–20 employees. Those interested can apply here.
