Sales of new cars and trucks (2,215) in Dane County surged again in August, up nearly 11% over August 2012, according to Reg-Trak of Waterloo. In the nine-county south central Wisconsin region, which includes Dane County, sales rose 9.1% compared to last year. Sauk County saw an increase of 25% over last year, while Dodge County reported a 9.6% decrease in year-over-year sales.
